What To Expect On Your First Visit
Complete New Patient Paperwork
On your first visit, you will be welcomed like family. Our Clinic Health Receptionist will do everything possible to make your first visit comfortable, relaxed, and welcoming.
To help us provide the best care possible, you will be asked to complete an intake form. The more information you are able to provide, the better I can understand your health history, concerns, lifestyle, and goals. This allows me to develop a personalized approach and tailor your care to your individual needs.
In a private setting, I will take the time to review your health history, current health concerns, past injuries or health issues, and your goals for care. I believe that listening is an important part of providing effective, individualized chiropractic care.
There will always be time for you to ask questions, discuss your concerns, and make sure you feel comfortable with your care.
Your health comes first. If I determine that chiropractic care is not the most appropriate option for you, I will be honest with you and, when appropriate, help connect you with another health-care professional who can better address your needs.
Chiropractic Examination
A chiropractic examination will be done evaluating the nervous system and muscles. In this stage, I learn what area of the spine needs to be adjusted and where the pressure is on the spine.
Diagnostic Imaging
If needed, I may take on-site postural x-rays to fully evaluate your condition. Having the most detailed health information is to your benefit, and helps to refine the chiropractic care you will receive.
X-rays give me important information including the position of the spinal bones, and the quality of the spine and safety of adjusting it.
They also tell me the relative length of time subluxations may have been involved in your spine.
Customized Care
All of the health information is now reviewed and a customized plan of care is created.
Everything from your medical history, examination results and your health goals is taken into account.
I will determine the most effective techniques so your individual needs are met.
Report Of Findings
After performing all examinations and gathering all the necessary information, I will sit down with you, on your next visit, to explain the findings and my recommendations for a plan of corrective care that is right for you.
We can have a team effort to achieve your optimal health. I will commit to the betterment of your health and well being. I want you to be confident in the care that I will be providing you and to expect exceptional health care in the services that I will provide for you
It is my philosophy to educate you and allow you to make your own health care decisions.
The clinic policies and fees will be shared with you. We will provide you with receipts that may be submitted to insurance companies for possible reimbursement. Printed receipts are available on the date of your appointment at the reception desk.
